Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) is evident when pipe passes through an area which is radioactive or a liquid or slurry bearing naturally occurring radioactive material is transferred through a pipe either in horizontal (pipeline) or vertical (drilling operations).
Pipeline Equities has NORM certified personnel to operate with norm material whether pipe, machinery or equipment. Trained personnel and supervisors are on site to clean or abate depending on the levels of NORM detected. Mobile crews carry the latest in detection equipment at all times.
